Donations
We provide free food parcels to the poor and destitute right through the year. (Yes they do exist - even in this day and age)
A big thank you to all local Shools and Churches who contributed to our food stock
following their Harvest Festival services
There is always a need for packets and tins (preferably with pull rings for easy opening) or for cash donations to enable us to carry on our work
Volunteer Achievments
2 of our voluntereers have recently achieved NVQ level 2 in Customer Service and 1 has achieved level 1 in Literacy.

Groundworks
Groundworks (Pennine) Lancashire are running a drop-in youth club in the Cafe' on Mondays between 3.00pm & 6.00pm.
Volunteer Presentation Evening
We are holding our annual Volunteer Presentation Evening on 2nd December at the Centre.
As well as presenting certificates to celebrate the 5,000+ hours of voluntary work given to the Centre the Volunteers will enjoy a good food, bingo and an evening of Karaoke.
Cafe Refurbishment
Work has recently been undertaken on decorating the cafe' and replacing the old carpet tiles with a new easy clean vinyl floor covering.
